Having Gallbladder Out Too?

I was wondering how many people are having their gallbladder out when the surgeon does the sleeve.

I have gallstone and I was wondering about this. I asked my surgeon and he said no. I'm curious about the rest of you.

I had mine out at time of surgery as Ihad , had 3 attacks before. I went to mexico so I just had to pay 500.00 more to do it then. My husband just had his out here in the states and it has cost about 5000.00.. I think I got a pretty good deal! :)

Usually insurance will on pay for one procedure per episode which would make the doc remove the gallbladder at no charge. I don't like to work without payment, do you?

Yes, I'm getting my gallbladder out the same time. When you lose weight fast it can contribute to gallstones so many Drs. take it out when they do WLS. (I have many large stones).

Many yo-yo dieters have them from losing.
