Protein Shake Nausea

I am two weeks post op and I have no trouble getting fluids down and I have started mushies with no problem. However, when I drink the Protein shakes I always feel very nauseated and tired afterwards. Does anyone know why? Both carbs and sugars are low. I haven't had a problem with anything else except these and it really makes it tough to get my protein in.

Thanks

Maybe it's the milk in the protein shake? I have heard that some people develop lactose intolerance. I'm out 5 days now and just can't get beyond 10 to 12oz of liquid. Today Unjury chicken broth seems to be hitting the spot.

I'm not sure if it's lactose intolerance or not, I just can't stand them anymore. I'm so glad I can eat other things, because I just can't do them anymore.
