What are July Sleevers doing to pass the time? I have another month left for the end of the year and I don't know what to do. I was told not to start my pre-op liquid diet yet , I have not a clue as to what to do while waiting? I am hearing all these numbers about percentage of weightloss after surgery do you know is the wightloss percentage 30% 50% less or more?

I just joined this site, I just got my date today July 17!! Cant wait.. I wish I could tell more people but I know what they will say.. im not big enough for surgury and im nuts to do it in Mexico.. im 5'8 and weigh 228 today and have battled all my life with my weight.. im ready to shop in the misses department and buy a size thats not double digits! lol I decided to go to Mexico after a friend of mine did a few months back and had a great experience and looks great! My insurance doesnt cover the procedure, so im self pay. Id love to have some july buddies.. anyone going to mexico? Dr Fernando Garcia? Love this site and all the support!!

I'm going to Dr Garcia on the 2nd so I'll be just a couple of weeks ahead of you!

That's awesome, thanks for that! I just found out my sleeve got moves from July 18th to July 13th. I'm super excited that I'm going to get sleeved earlier, even if it's on Friday the 13th, lol! I'm choosing to ignore the "bad luck" of Friday the 13th and think about the good luck that I'm going to have after my sleeve! I am choosing to change my life, and I am choosing to make 2012 the best year ever! I can't wait to go through this whole process! I'm in Southern California and I'm having it done at Kaiser West L.A.

After reading the boards for a while, I know I'm one of the heavyweight sleevers to be. I need to lose about 200 lbs.

Any other July peeps in the same boat?
