Low Blood Persure

I saw the doc for my four week Friday my blood pressure is low by about 5-10 points and I am having symptoms of dizziness and weakness with light head. He mentioned it could be dehydrohadtion but maybe them is tmi but was told to monitor my urin color and it is allways pale yellow only dark once or twice a week. Any advice on feeling better would getting I.v. Fluids raise my blood pressure he didn't give me any good fix other than jointer and I feel like crap.

I was sleeved 4/23 and Down 30lbs

its okay, i felt so low on energy and had all that in the beginning, but you just need to try to stick by the exact amounts of food and liquids they told u to have, i used to always not finish up my portions, just try hard to finish up the portions and have the protein shakes, and drink lots of water, just water helped me a lot!! really it can work miracles, even if its very uncomfortable, just drink it, and maybe sugary juices, not like, drowned in sugar, maybe watermelon juice or something like that?

Anyone know if there is medication to raise blood pressure I haven't found any oline

there arent any meds for that i guess, i still suffer with low blood pressure until now, but all i find to help is just drink some juice and lots of water!

I had extremely low blood pressure right after surgery. It was 83 over 52. A number of things can cause it such as dehydration, anemia, etc. I wasn't getting enough liquids in and I had also lost a lot of blood in surgery and had low iron. I felt so weak and run down. As soon as I focused on my liquids, my BP went up and I felt so much better. It is still much lower than it was before surgery (I'm 11 weeks out) 112 over 61. Prior to surgery is was about 130 over 70. I'm blessed with low blood pressure in general, but this is low. My doctor does not seem concerned about it so I guess I won't. Good luck to you!
