I had problems with keeping water down until day 3-4. It will get better. Just remember to keep sipping. I lost all my pain on day 4. I had diarrhea really bad once I started drink more water and jello. I'm a week and a half post op and feel great! I promise it gets better!

Take it slow honey. Have you tried different temps of water? My stomach spasmed at first with cool water and cold. Keep your head up. It will stop. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Your chest hurting is the gas. I felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. When I complained about it, they did an EKG and a chest X-ray. All normal.
