Having A Panic Attack..

Im not exactly sure why but i think im freakibg out because when i go to bed i sleep for roughly nine hours and i feel like that is such a big gap of time to not be walking. I'm walking a pretty good amount each day but I'm really scared of getting a blood clot or something. (I have major anxiety issues and always fear the worst will happen). Idk. So silly me is pacing around worrying and thought i would post on here while I'm doing that lol. ;)

Seriously. It's all in God's hands. Sleeping is ok. My surgeon never once told me to not sleep to avoid blood clots. Unless you've had problems in the past, you will be fine as long as you are following all of your directions from your surgeon. If it's your time to go...there's NUTTIN you can do about it. That may or may not be a comfort to you. It is to me. Of course you must be responsible, but worrying and pacing only gets you tired. Go to sleep. Rest well. :)

I agree... STOP WORRYING!! If your doctor really thought it was issue on the blood clots, he would have sent you home with a series of shots to avoid it.

My BMI was above 50 so my doctor gave me 7 day post op of blood thinner shots just to make sure. I have had 4 surgeries prior to being sleeved and had no issues.

Relax and know that you are doing everything right.
