I got a call that my surgery was pushed up 3 days. How long before surgery did you stop taking ibuprofen? I took ibuprofen last 2 days ago and my surgery is on Monday. So it will be 4 days prior.Nervous they won't let me have it done!!!! What are the risks?

I think you'll be okay - mention it to the doctor, of course, but I think you're okay.

I took ib profen a few days before surgery. As long as you didn't take it for a long period of time, I'm sure your fine.

Yeah just don't take anymore, tell ur doc...as long as you haven't been taking it back to back for a long period you should be fine...
