Today is the first day of the rest of my life. I'm headed to the hospital around 9am and literally putting my life in my surgeons hands. I'll keep everyone posted as soon as I can. Catch y'all on the flip side... on the losers bench!

Well, I'm home now and very sore! I highly recommend staying in the hospital as long as they will let you. IV meds were much easier, it's really hard to get my liquid pain meds down on my own. And I've never had heartburn or acid reflux before, but I sure do have it now! I can only seem to get in about 20oz liquids a day, and about 20g protein. I'm trying really hard, just so afraid to overdo it. This first week might be a little rough, but I would do it all over again. Can't wait to start dropping some lbs!!

Thank goodness I have a loving husband to wait on me and two sweet dogs that want to stay right by my side.
