No, I have never heard this before, but I wanted to wish you well and good luck.

that sucks, but the good news is that you had the surgery that can help fix this situation. The liver is an amazing thing, it can and will regenerate healthy tissue. you just need to do your part, which is making sure to optimize your weight loss while you are in the prime time to do so. My girlfriend had gastric bypass because she had cirrhosis, and now 3 years out she has no signs of any liver damage. you can do this! get moving! :)

good luck!

What was your doctor's recommendation for this? Did he give you specific guidelines? Thank goodness you had surgery when you did! Your weight loss will surely help to relieve the pressure from your liver!

So sorry for your shocking news. Good luck on your road to recovery! What are your doctor's recommendations/predictions?

Oh my word....I'm so sorry to hear this. Well at least you have this valuable information so you can start making informed decisions about your care. Thank you for sharing and making us aware of this. God Bless you as you face this new challenge.

I am glad you found out the problem. If you hadn't had the surgery and the follow-up, you wouldn't have found out. I am sorry you are having to go through this - my prayers are with you. What Sassygirl said about her girlfriend is great to hear, you may have the same positive results.

Best of luck to you.

Sharon

So sorry to hear that! I hope and pray everything works out fine for you, just like it did for Sassygirl's friend!

He told me the surgery was the best thing I could have done . Have to keep a close eye on it. Diet will be even stricter.
