I was put on mushies on my day 7 post op apt. I slowly added things one by one until I started getting adventurous again with food. By week 3 I was at about 5 bites of soft solids like fish and broi

I agree that all doctors are different. I am 11 days post-op and just started mushy food, yesterday.

I was on clear liquids in the hospital; day 4 - 9 post op I was on full liquid but no yogurt. I will be on the mushy food for 10 days and then I can have deli meat, ground turkey, and cheese sticks.
