These artificial sweetners are killing me. Do you think 2 teaspoons of sugar in my tea will hurt ?????

I've never had a problem with real sugar, I tolerate it better than the artificial stuff, since I tend to get headaches from that. I've also read studies about how artificial sweetners can cause hunger. I do drink Wylers and crystal light occasionally, but mainly stick to apple juice and water.

Yep. Sugar will hurt you. Avoid it like the plague..It's the pesky carbs in the sugar that cause us problems because they make us feel hungry and want more sugar. Get used to one of the artificial sweeteners or learn to drink it without sugar. I use Protein powder in my coffee instead of creamer and I NOW like it that way. :)

Good luck!! :)

How do you keep the Protein Powder from curdling once it hits the warm coffee?

I let my coffee cool off a bit before I add the protein powder. It works fine.

yup and its not fun

Agree with Lissa as usual.

I also add my Protein Powder to my coffee. I use my Blender Bottle cup: pour my coffee in the cup and leave it for a little while, come back and add the protein powder, put the lid on an shake. I don't add creamer, sugar, or anything else.

But, I only let the coffee cool because otherwise the blender bottle will leak a bit from the pressure of the hot coffee.

Muscle Milk powder blends very well in hot coffee, as does their Cytosport product. I am currently using the Cytosport vanilla in my coffee and when I run out of this, I will try the chocolate Cytosport. A 34g scoop contains 27g protein, got it at costco (cannot recall the price).
