I was sleeved on April 25th . I guess you could say im one of the lucky ones... i experienced NO GAS pains WHATSOEVER not even a slight tinge. I was in Moderate bt bearable pain immediately after surgery. But the drugs took care of that quickly. Morphine does NOTHING for my pain. I was switched to Dilotin not sure if thats how its spelled bt it is a GOD SENT!! i was in the hospital until Friday 04/27 and ive only taken pain meds ONCE since being home. My doctor releases us on Pureed diet. its definitely a challenge getting in liquids. Never thought id see the day that i couldnt eat a whole popsicle in one sitting but it HAPPENED.. My mother baked chicken and green beans then pureed it for me. OMG it was like a bowl of Disgusting looking HEAVEN lol.. Im just grateful that my sleeve has LOVED everything i put in it.. Im so greatful to have this opportunity to take control of my life. And guess what.. i didnt have the BUYERS remorse. im pretty sure a bad day is down the road bt for right now.. IM BLESSED!! hope everyone elses goes well!! I was sleeved by Dr. Virginia Weaver in Memphis,Tn
