Insurance Approved Me, How Long Until Dr Does?

Hi,

I have my first appointment with the doctor on Friday. Emailing back and forth with his nurses has got both of my insurances to approve and cover the surgery, and she told me I would need a psych eval and one nutrition meeting. What else should I expect? How long before the doctor approves me? I'm so anxious. Haha. Tomorrow will probably be the longest day of my life.

Oh, my dr will be Dr.David Kim in Texas.

I also had to do a sleep study and then see a cardiologist for medical clearnce. At the cardiologists I had to do a stress test, breathing test, echocardiogram and an ultrasound of my cartoids. This is required by my surgeon, I don't know if all surgeons require that or not.

There is also pre-op tests I have to do 3 days before surgery, bloodwork and a chest xray.

I had to have a cardiac clearance test done not for my insurance but for my surgeon. However I did my nutritional test the same day as my consult and the physc eval was done over the phone the next day. I'm currently just waiting on my cardiac stress test. I found out today that insurance has approved me. I couldn't be more excited than I am right now.
