Anyone else going to have their sleeve in May? I'm excited and now the nervousness has set in. I am reading a few posts that people are in the hospital for like 3 days. My dr said I would only be in the hospital one day. And that I would walk the same day as my surgery.... Is this something they tell everyone or should I plan on more than one day there? Either way, my life changes May 16th and I'm excited

I just got moved to may 11 instead of may 10. Not to bad but still waiting on insurance to say ok. I am 4 days into my prep diet. It's a little hard ... Good luck ladies an gents!

May 8 here! I don't now whether to be excited or nervous. I don't exactly have a good track record when it comes to having surgery. I alway seem to have complications.

May 3rd..here.. first day of only liquids.. not too bad.. but i will know more tomorrow after having a full day with nothing but liquids..

I just got the call from the hospital. I need to be there at 9am, so most likely will be having surgery around 10 or 11

Good luck everyone. May is here tomorrow! I have three more weeks to wait but it's starting to feel much closer and real.

I Manage a Jewellery store and a customer came in today - and asked me what I was up to bla bla and I said I was going to Mexico have surgery - she proceeds to tell me how she HEARD about a girl who went to Mexico for breast implants - she got the doctor over the internet and when she was flying back to Canada they exploded - because they were filled with water and she died. I am sorry if that is a true story - just wondering what it has to do with weight loss surgery? mmmmm people are funny.....

I'm may 11 too! we need to add each other as friends so we can talk when it gets closer and after surgery as well. go to the May 2012 forum and I have a May 11 post there

May14th! I'm nervous and excited at the same time. My pre op appt is tomorrow...so many questions!

Good luck and prayers to all the sleevers this week! My date is May 16th and am just starting to get excitied...i start my pre op diet tommorow, and have to stay on it for 2 WEEKS! Prayers please!!!

Delta, you can do it! I'm on day 9 I think, lost track, my emotions are out of wack, of the preop diet. It's really not horrible. I have to force myself to get more than 600 calories a day in. The protein shakes keep you pretty full!

My surgery is tomorrow and i'm getting so anxious for that day to come i have so much to do today.. Really wish my headache would go away.. i'm detoxing so much and i feel it!!
