H Pylori

I know they take the test to make sure you don't have any infections in your stomach. But what is the test like?

I just had mine done and it was just a blood test, nothing special, at least for me. But it turns out I have it and am now on antibiotics for 14 days. Don't know how you get it but I do know that I've been having what I now know as signs of this infection.

I had H Pylori back in 09 when I was going to have G.B. I had to take 4 pills 2xs a day 4 10 days. It was tested through my blood. It was hard to do the meds because I hate taking pills. Good luck on your results.

Thank you for the info. The nutritionist mentioned this test and one that measures your calcium. That seems to be all my surgeon is requiring besides the 6 mo nutritionist visits and the psych eval.
