ToyBoy got a reaction from Just Keep Swimming in Not Sure What To Call It...but I Am In The 300's!@Brandy, I completely understand what your are feeling. I was over 400 #s for the last 10 years. I was excited to get below 400. I started at 439. At my last weight in I was 382. I'm happy to hit to milestones ( getting below 400 and losing 50 #s)
Keep up the good work. I'm rooting for you.

ToyBoy got a reaction from phatdivabbw in To Tell Or Not To Tell?I shared with a few co-workers and my immediate family. The problem I have is those people sharing my news with other people. I asked my wife and family to keep it private, but we know how that goes. I just told____and she told_____ and they told____. I just want to be able to tell my own story. If someone shows interest in surgery, I would disclose my surgery, other than that it would depend on the mood I'm in. I don't have much time to entertain haters. I'm trying to make up for lost time.

ToyBoy reacted to Redheadedone in Has anyone had plastic surgery in Mexico?Hi, not sure if it helps but I will be getting a sleeve with Dr. Almanza on the 26th. He has a package for $5500 which includes a tummy tuck, breast lift and one area of lipo. I will go back after I lose the weight and get the nips and tucks.

I just wanted to share some good news. I am 2 weeks post op today, and at weigh in I was 399.2. This is the first time in ten years I have been under 400 #s. I am stoked. I was given the ok by my nut to start on the mushies, but I am afraid to put anything into my stomach. I'm afraid to damage or overdue it. I'll start off slowly.
Anyhoo, just wanted to share my good news. I am proud of myself.

ToyBoy got a reaction from vsg30815 in Good News @ 2 Week Follow Up@favoredone, I'm sure you can do it.
I must say this process does a lot for my psychee. When I was a normal weight I never second guessed myself. As the weight increased my confidence decreased. I am regaining that confidence now. I quit smoking, and now I'm losing the weight. I am begining to believe in myself again.
Thanx again for all of the support.

ToyBoy got a reaction from princess9475 in Down 43 In 30 DaysI'm so glad about your weight loss. Keep up the good work. It's always a pleasure to hear when someone gets off of medication. It's time we start treating our bodies right.

ToyBoy reacted to princess9475 in Down 43 In 30 DaysSo I went to the dr's today for my physical and I was amazed to find out I was down 43 lbs in 30 days today! Not only that but my A1C was 12 about 3 months ago and it is now at a 6.9! I was still a little anemic and my vitamin D was a little low so I have to add some more vitamin D and some iron! It was such a positive appointment and for me it is usually very predictable and I normally would get meds added and adjusted but not this time I had meds removed! Thank you all for being so supportive and helpful...

ToyBoy got a reaction from Dooter in Where Are You 200+Er's?Hey everyone,
I am loving the love here in this group for 200+. I started at 438 pre-op. I lost a few #s gained a few #s, but I'm happy to say that I lost 16 #s in the 1st week post-opt. I m not weighting myself daily, but I can't wait for my 2 wk follow up. I was 405.8 at last weight in. Hopefully I will be under the 300 # mark. If so it will be the 1st time I was in the 300s in 10 years. That's major for me. My goal weight is 200#s.
Good luck to all my sleevers out. We can do it.

ToyBoy got a reaction from Shell.C in New Here With 200+ To LoseHi there, I'm new to this forum too. I am 34 yrs old with a top weight of 438. My goal weight is 225-200 pds. I am 5'10 and think this will be a good weight. When I look back at the happiest times in my life, that was the weight range I was in. I am at 408.5 now and look forward to breaking into the 300s. The small victories will keep me motivated, and eventually I will hit my target.
I dread having the loose skin, but I plan to weight train and exercise. I hear drinking plenty of Water will help. I pray I have good genes and most will strink. If not there is always surgery or Spanks...lol

ToyBoy got a reaction from Gi510 in How Are You One Week Post-OpersHi there, I am 8 days post-op. I had my 3rd follow up with my bariatric team on yesterday, 17 pds lost since surgery. I was on Clear liquids for ythe 1st week. Now I can have a protien shake along with the clear liquids. I must say, I miss chewing. TV food commercials look so good now. I don't think I paid that much attention to them in the past. My family is very supportive, but they will eat anything in front of me...no shame...lol.
I did experience a lot of burping in the begining. I was told that i was not sipping, I was gulping and that causes the burping. I was instructed to let the liquids roll down my throat. I tried that, but find myself still needing to swallow. I take in small amounts of Fluid at a time and just prepare for the burp.
I have a lil pain in my left side, but that could be from riding on the terrible roads in NJ. I am no longer taking any of the post-op medications. I have only had 2 BMs since surgery and that was with the assistance of M.O.M. This is strange for me because I gerneral go shortly after eating. I have not had a movement since Tues. I will bring this up with my team on tomorrow. Maybe I need another dose of m.o.m.
I am very pleased so far. One of the best things that has happened so far is that I have been smokefree for over a week. I wish I didn't punk out of surgery before, but it's my time now.
