Px90
I agree with the above comments. Start with one of the other programs like slim in 6, ten min trainer or power 90. Once you can complete two rounds of one of those programs...give p90x a try. This is my plan. After two rounds of p90x........then its insanity....pray for me.

Not Sure What To Call It...but I Am In The 300's!
@Brandy, I completely understand what your are feeling. I was over 400 #s for the last 10 years. I was excited to get below 400. I started at 439. At my last weight in I was 382. I'm happy to hit to milestones ( getting below 400 and losing 50 #s) Keep up the good work. I'm rooting for you.

Question On Vit B 12 Sublingual 2,500 Mcg
My nut has me on 2500 daily. I would stick with 1000 daily because your levels are good. No need to rock the boat.

I Surprised Myself Today!
i'm more concerned about my foot shrinking. I have some footwear that i dont want to part with. I would probably cry....guess thats the girl in me.

I Surprised Myself Today!
@topgun. I completely understand. I'm just thinking about people on this journey who will loose a lot of weight rapidly. It can get very expensive buying clothes monthly that will only fit for a couple of weeks before becoming to big. I would be willing to post pix and ship my clothes (c.o.d. of course) to someone who could use them now. I am a big girl, but very stylish. I think some people give up on their appearance when they become large. I always want to look my best. It's not uncommon for me to spend 150+ on jeans, or 100 on a shirt. I just think someone else can appreciate them more than I would if I altered them. I have a sowing machine and thought about taking some items in, but I'm so looking forward to shopping.

I Surprised Myself Today!
Maybe you can think about passing them on to someone else on this journey. I have a lot of clothes I would love to keep, but i understand that at my size stylish clothing is expensive. I know there are people who can benefit from some nice things. I look forward to my new, cheaper and smaller clothes. I don't know if this forum has a clothing exchange, but it would be a nice idea. pay it forward.

Well... I found the right Forum! ;o)
Hey to all here. I wouldnt advise those protein shots. they are horrible, and i question how much of that protein will actually get absorbed. I'm lactose intolerant. I use Cytosport 100% whey protein. Just mix with 6-8 oz of water. It tastes very good too. I'm 1 month post op and down 48 #s. I have a hard time getting the food in. when I do, its tuna or egg. Im happy that i no longer have to sip my water, but i must work on getting more in.

Where Are You 200+Er's?
Congrats to all that stay on the grind. Three weeks post-op, I hit my first milestone. I was 397. For the 1st time in over 10 years, I was under 400 #'s. I have to keep pushing. I have step up some nice rewards for myself at different milestones.

Over Ate
You know what works for you. Maybe instead of increasing volume you can increase the calories in what you already consume.Exercise can also help you with increasing calories. Try asking your dr what he/she recommends.

How Did You Pop Your Cherry?
That's funny. I got the go ahead on mushies today. I tried to eat some yogurt. I couldn't get a teaspoon down. It felt like it just sat inside my chest. So I took my dog out for a walk, hoping it would go down, and it did.

Comfort Me Please
When I woke up, I was all smiles. The anesthesiologist gave me a shot that numbed me from my ribs to my pelvis. I agree with the constant going to the bathroom. Those IVs will keep you mobile. It will be helpful to have someone there with you who can assist with this. My weight in at discharge was higher than pre-op due to the fluids. The fluids weight will go away quickly. Keep your head up. It is sooooo worth it.

How Did You Pop Your Cherry?
I'm sure this question has come up before, but I couldn't find a thread on it. I am just curious about what sleevers chose as their 1st meal, after the mushies? I think so much about what I want to eat, but I am afraid of the mushies right now.

To Tell Or Not To Tell?
I shared with a few co-workers and my immediate family. The problem I have is those people sharing my news with other people. I asked my wife and family to keep it private, but we know how that goes. I just told____and she told_____ and they told____. I just want to be able to tell my own story. If someone shows interest in surgery, I would disclose my surgery, other than that it would depend on the mood I'm in. I don't have much time to entertain haters. I'm trying to make up for lost time.
