Eating Real Sugar

I am two days post op and I am starving. I absoultely hate sugar free products. Does anyone eat regular jello or popsicles? I am worried that sugar will make me sick

I didn't know I was only supposed to do sugar free jello, and made real sugar jello but I couldn't eat it. After one spoonful it felt gross. I then tried with the sugar free and that one was just fine.

Part of the reason for the sugar free is to keep your carbs low. If you can find low carb food choices with real sugar let me know!! I am 15 days out and had a "real" glass of apple juice inadvertently and I was totally sick to my stomach from the sugar content, a whopping 30g of carbs!! Good luck.

Are you sure that it is your stomach that is making you feel hungry or is it "head hunger". I know that 2 days post op I was not looking to eat anything. I was lucky to be able to take small sips of fluids.
