Scrambled eggs or tuna sounds soooo good. I'm on 3 weeks of liquids post op.

Depends on your surgeon. I too am on liquid diet until day 21. Start soft foods on Monday.

Each surgeon seems to have his own post-op diet so you should do just what you have been told, mine will be 2 weeks liquid, 2 weeks puree, 2 weeks mushie then normal.

I would follow the diet that you got from your surgeon. I would try the scrambled eggs before I would try the tuna. I know that I was eating the egg before the tuna or any meat.

My postop diet is: clear liquids for the first two days postop, full liquids for the rest of week 1, purees for weeks 2, 3 and 4. Starting at the beginning of week 5 I can have soft regular food. I know I will be MORE than ready by the time that day comes!! I am only postop day 4 right now :)
