I have a NUT and physical trainer appt today! I was officially 1 month post op yesterday and I'm just so happy with how good I am feeling these days :-) I'm down 24 lbs and I'm enjoying getting to eat a little something here and there :-) my weight keeps stalling for a couple days then drops a lb and then stalling a couple more then dropping another lb. however I think I'm gonna put the scale in the closet because honestly, I don't care what it says as long as I'm following the guidelines and I feel great!

Congratulations!! You are doing so well :)

I think putting the scale away is a GREAT idea. The times when I was motivated enough to only get on the scale once a week were the BEST because I saw larger drops in the scale... but there are times when i've been frustrated so I've weighed myself every day and it sucks because your weight fluctuates so much even day to day that you could be up one day, down the next and back up the third etc.. once a week at the same time (the morning is the best because it is generally when you are at your lowest weight) really is the best because it FEELS the best :D

Good luck with your appointments and good job!

I think that is a great idea, I see my scale in the bathroom and feel I need to get on it daily...it is driving me crazy. It is going in the hall closet when I get home! Congrats to you, you are doing great! I am six weeks out today and down 26 since surgery.

I got in trouble for not enough Protein as well. So, for my meals I would have 2 oz of Protein instead of a protein and a carb. I could barely even eat 2 oz. Crap I started the soft food stage yesterday and I can still barely eat 2 oz.!!!

Today has been a month and I'm down 40lbs.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
