No question is stupid! Promise!!! I have already had the band and I still ask questions with this surgery. Knowledge is power and it is a key factor to recovery. Good luck to you!!!

I had no gas...thank goodness! It will get better daily, hang in there! You will be up and about sooner than you think. Just dont forget to walk, walk, walk! As far as the protein/water thing, it was hard for me to get it in too but I did it, just had to force myself cause I didnt want to end up back in the hospital because I was dehydrated! Best of luck to you!!!

ive noticed people either have the gas pains or they dont.. they are more in control now since taking the gas x like i said..ive been walking too..noticed im way exhausted though..im sure from the surgery..but each day things are getting better

Each day gets better! Take it one day at a time! It will all come together!

I was sleeved on the 14th and have had lots of Gas Pain. I too started using the Gas-x strips today...1st day at home. I also worry about my protein and water but I try very hard. Have you tried SF Popsicles my fav! Good Luck lets keep in touch over the next couple of weeks to share ideas.

No I haven't tried SF Popsicles. But it will be on the shopping list though since I've heard this mentioned a few times. Its really helpful talking to others who have been so recently sleeved like myself

Lol 3 weeks out and I love my SF pops. My neighborhood store ran out and I almost lost it. Doesn't help that my emotions are a total roller coaster!

Does the brand of the Popsicle matter, are some better than others. Or the only thing that matters is that they are sugar free

I dont think it matters as long as they are SF

Ok I don't know what S F stands for? What kind of Popsicles?

I have reading so much about the gas pain do anybody know why you have gas pain. Does it have anything to do with your diet before surgery or are these people that don't following they liquid diet or is this something that's just gonna happen?
