Seeds?

How long after surgery can we have seeds? I didn't see anything in info doctor gave but I've read it on here. There's a light asian dressing that I love but has seeds and I miss strawberries.

I don't think my nutrition guide specifically referenced seeds, but I wasn't cleared for most fruits until 3 months (which included strawberries). Probably not a bad idea to wait a bit, seeds could get lodged in your healing staple line and cause infection.

It should tell you on your diet plan that you were given by your surgeon or your NUT.....mine is listed under fruits and then it list the different ones and when you can eat them

my NUT and doc said 3 months bc they could get caught in our staple line. ;)

Thanks. I read and re-read all the info from my surgeon and the hospital and there isn't anything about seeds.
