Woke Up With A Cold

Two months out - woke up with a cought/sneezing/runny nose full blown cold - plan on calling the DR's office sometime today to seek what I can/cannot take..........but thought I would check here to see if anyone has any ideas or suggestions.

I always took Zycam to try to reduce the length (it worked) but don't know if this is ok at this point.

I don't have anything productive to say lol... However I did make the comment yesterday that I was going to carry a can of Lysol around with me yesterday because it seems to be going around real good right now an I'm only 2 weeks out and almost had to postpone my surgery because I got REAL sick the week before surgery!

I really hope you get feeling better soon :-)

I got a sore throat last Thursday and took Zicam for a day. My stomach didin't like it too much. I had the sore throat for a week, had went to my PCP and he prescribed some cough syrup. Yesterday, I started loosing my voice. Today, I don't know if I will be loosing my voice, I really haven't talked to anyone but the cats and dogs. LOL Hope your cold goes away really soon, I'm so afraid I will have a bad cough and pop my stapleline. ;)

I am a year out and I am also sick...My surgeon said I can take anything that is not an ansaid. I choose not to take anything except tylenol when my throat hurts so bad or I have a headache. Pre surgery I took 3 extra strength at a time. Now 1 does the trick nicely!
