Uck, Ill :(

Well, I've managed to catch a hideous throat infection which has been making me feel crappy for the last 4 days, however its taken a whole new direction today, and I've felt foamy and sick all day, with my stomach feeling really off key.

Basically I'm wondering if post sleeve we are more prone to infections sprading to our stomachs?

:( Typical, its my birthday tomorrow, and I'm booked into a spa, I can't afford to be ill now! :(

So sad your feeling rotten! There was a nasty flu going through California last month, it seemed to hit everyone, started in the throat... sometimes went into the lungs and even the tummy for some. I had it for 3 weeks before I felt better. Luckily, the tummy was spared. Happy birthday, how you feel better soon...

You are still healing from surgery and your tummy is much more delicate now that it will be in a few months. I'm 9.5 months out and I haven't noticed any tendency to catching things easier.

Hope you feel better soon!

Cludgie: happy birthday tomorrow! my daughter's birthday is also March 5 and I think she's one fine lady so I imagine you are too. Hope you feel better soon!

I have had a sore throat for 4 days now. Yuck! It is driving me crazy! I went to the doc and he said it was an URI (cold). He gave me some cough syrup to help with sleeping. I just want the sore throat to go away. Enough is enough! ;)
