Hi everyone,

My name is Jen and I'm from NJ. I had VSG on August 3, 2011. In Sept. I developed a leak which nearly destroyed me mentally. I'm still having some issues from it - hoping my doctors can figure out what to do. Anyway, I'm glad to be a member here and getting to know you all.

Hi Realwmn, Yes I'm having my surgery at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood sometime in March hopefully. I have already been approved just finishing up some preop testing. Hope everything goes well for you in Mexico. I have heard so many wonderful things about having it done there. Best wishes!

Welcome, Jersey Girl! So sorry to hear that you have had complications. There are a couple of specific areas here devoted to people who have had complications. You may want to check out those threads. Perhaps their experiences will help you in dealing with your own. Glad that you're here!

Thanks everyone. I had my surgery at Robert Wood Johnson in Hamilton. My surgeon was Dr. Noyan. He's a great guy and I felt very comfortable with him. I'm seeing him tomorrow to go over my CAT results - hopefully all is well.
