Hello all,

Im scheduled to have surgery later this month with Dr Ortiz in Mexico. I did lots of research and was satisfied with this Dr and his credentials. His facility has also been ICE certified. I was excited and extremely confident until I read some of the complications and struggles that others have gone thru. As of today ( March 1 st) I feel extremely nervous. Anyone else sleeved by Dr Ortiz or later this month.. Feeling somewhat alone, I've only told one person about my surgery date.

I am being sleeved on March 27 also! I am going through Dr Fernando Garcia at the Mi Doctor Hospital in Tijuana. I am not as much nervous as I am excited. I have a feeling this will be a great opportunity for me.

Are you traveling alone? I am very excited but can't express myself to family or friends. Just the mention of it starts a negative debate and I refuse to be discourage. Hence the reason for feeling alone .

My Mom is coming with me. My family isn't very happy but I told them I don't care. I am doing this! I am willing to go alone but my Mom won't let me. I've read many post from people that have went alone. They all said it was fine. I wouldn't be worried. Are you going to be at the MI Doctor Hospital?

Im going to the obesity control center in Tijuana Mexico. Taking my ex fiancé with me. He's always very supportive of me. Im very happy to meet you and will be checking in to see how your doing.. We are just a few weeks away.. Yeah!!!

Congrats for those going to Mexico. I must say that ya'll truly impress me as I would be more nervous than I am now getting on a plane to do this! Kudos to all of you!

I was seeing a wonderful Dr here in New Jersey but my insurance company was really giving me a hard time. I could no longer ride the emotional roller coaster. After lots of research I decided to go the self pay route. (Mexico)
