Leap Year Surgery Date 02/29/2012

As we all know when ever there are 29 days in Feb that means it is a leap year, which only occurs every four years. Well my surgery happens to be on that day. Lately I have been wondering, going forward on my journey, what date should I choose for my sleeve anniversaries (too funny thinking about the years to come when this year just started). Should I go with Feb 28th or March 1st. Let me know sleeve family what date would you choose?

I say pick Feb 28 and Celebrate by buying yourself a new outfit! It will still fit on Mar 1 too! :D

Hi Andi,

I am excited and nervous all at the same time, how about you. Tomorrow I have to start a two day clear liquid diet. Do you? It looks like we are going to be sleeve sisters. Keep in touch with me and let me know how things go and I will do the same. If you choose March 1st I will too...lol

Hi guys, I'm having surgery on the 29th, at first I was nervous about the date. But I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one!! Best wishes to all of us.

Yes please stay in touch. It will be so nice to have some one to share the stages with. I don't know about you guys but I'm ready to move forward. Do you guys have to do magnesium citrate on Tuesday to clean out your system? I'm told I don't want to be far from the bathroom Good Times lol.

I do not have to drink the magnesium citrate. Today I had to start a two day clear liquid diet consisting of Soup broth, sugar free Jello, sugar free popsicles, flavored Water, and just plain water. I was also told to stay home on the 29th...yeah right I have two appointments tomorrow...yikes lol

What time are you guys going in for surgery? For what ever reason my doctor's office won't give you an exact time until the day before. I guess thats what happens when you have to use a military hospital.

Good luck to all of you. I'm having my sleeve done March 1. Lost 10 lbs already just on the liquid diet.

My surgery is schedule for 7:30 but I have to be at the hospital at 5:30. Early morning

How are you guys holding up? What time is everyone scheduled for surgery? My nerves have seem to calm down but I'm so ready to get it over with.

Congrats and good wishes to you all and keep me posted!!!
