Straw usage

My kids bought be a diet slurpee which I greedily started sucking down with a straw. I am now in horrible, horrific pain. I'm assuming from gas. Dumb rookie mistake. Don't let it happen to you. :) death to diet slurpees!

I ended up in pain for hours and was taking Gas X strips like they were candy. It eventually passed. I've never been so glad to just poot.

i'm a rule breaker - i drink with a straw (there, I said it). What i find is that if I just drink from a glass, i get pain, and spasms. with a stray, nothing! i just make sure that i don't pull the very last of the drink from the straw.

I tried using a straw to get down my protein shake. It was so thick that most of it stayed high in the straw and I didnt get much air. I was ok. I think if you drink thinner liquids you might get a lot of air especially if your drink fast and dont sip. I am only 5 weeks out and I cant gulp or drink more than a sip at a time.
