Ok the doctor sent my packet to cigna Friday. What is the normal response time?? I am very excited but very scared to that I want be turned down. Please let me know what to expect......

congrats on completing most of the process to getting sleeved. i am JUST starting now. ive read that in can take a few hours up to a few weeks. you can call your insurance company and ask for a status update.

It can take a week or two to get a response.

I have Cigna open access and my packet was submitted in May 17th and I had my approval on May 20th. Call them they will give you the status if not the approval before the doctors office even gets it...good luck.

i have cigna to my surgery was approved in a week just call them to make sure they have your info then get your case number after that call and call some more this will help my surgery will be july 12 good luck and much success!

It was submitted Friday it is waiting nurse approval then going to doctor approval. hoping to find out before weeks end. i and having my surgery 2 1/2 hours from my home. I will be there next week for my sons ball tournament i really need to get that approval.

I have submitted yet but I was told it could take up to 30 days. I am praying when I do submit it takes a lot less time.

I have Cigna and my paper work was submitted on a Friday and approved the following Monday afternoon.
