  2. I'm in Porter and 7mos out. Would love a local group.
  3. GrannyK you are correct we have the rest of our life to get there! I had to come to the realization that everyone loses weight at a different rate...some very fast and some slow and steady and as I said I'm the slow steady one! But I'm ok with that it's coming off and it's off forever thanks to this amazing surgery and good eating habits! Good luck to you and sorry for the passing of your brother!

  6. I'm in...SW 203 GW 188 CW 203 so I'll bid 15 lbs on this challenge! Good luck everyone!
  7. Hi, this is pretty normal. I'm actually running neck and neck with you. I was 4 mos out on the 8th of Oct. I started at 260 and as of this morning I'm 203, so I've lost 57 lbs. I do feel like its slow though hoping it will pick up soon I started watching carbs more the past few days and have noticed a difference. Good luck
  8. Yes I can relate! Lol just last week I was standing in my co-workers cubicle talking my stomach was screaming some strange noises! My co-worker to me to go check my pants...I thought I was going to pee my self I was laughing so hard!
  9. Please add me to June 8th...thanks
  10. I get 12 of them for 17.88 at the Nutrition Depot I'm in Texas you can go to their website and see if there is one in your area. Good luck that's my staple when it comes to a snack.
  11. Well my husband and I decided to go buy bikes yesterday. And I have to say I think I've found an exercise I really enjoyed doing. We rode with the kids for over an hour it was so fun! I'm trying to get dinner done now so we can head out for another ride! Thanks for all the suggestions.
  12. Thanks SeattleSue, I'm in Texas and the weather is finally starting to cool down enough to tolerate a nice walk so maybe that will be my starting point.
  13. How do you find an exerise that you can enjoy and stick to? I'm so confused I know I need to exercise but I just can't seem to find a starting point. I'm almost 4 months out and have lost 52 pounds without exercise nut I know the key to up my loss and maintain once I reach it is exercise! I work all day have kids activities in the evening I know that's no excuse I wasted 1800.00 on a personal trainer in 2010 before my surgery only to loss 26 pounds them gain it bad and more! I have several friends and family that live within miles of me but no one seems to want to get on an exercise buddy system! So I'm just going to have to go it alone! But I don't know where to start should I go back to the gym membership and do the free classes that range from cardio to strength training or should I use some of the many exercise options I have at home from wii fitness to boxing??? Please help me get motivated!
  14. Ok I had surgery on June 8th this year so I'm almost 4months post op. My starting weight was 260 and I'm 5"7. As of this morning I'm down to 208.4 that's 51.6 pounds lost (not that you couldn't do the math lol) anyway I'm very proud of the loss, I just feel like a slow loser. My question is how do I figure the % of my loss I've seen it figured so many different ways. My goal was 140 but I've upped it to 150 since that would still be a normal BMI for my height. Can someone offer up some advice here? I don't go back for a check up until the 23rd of Oct and I just want to be sure my numbers are good. Thanks
