GOOOOOOOOOOOOAL

I made goal this morning (sigh). I will be 9 months post op on Friday, and I can't believe this day is really here. I am so thankful to God for opening the doors and making it possible for me to get the sleeve. It has been a miracle worker for me.

I want to thank all of you for your love and support I truly could not have done this without all of you cheering me on along the way. I want to send a special shout out to my so-cal support group who have inspired me when I needed it most.

TODAY IS A GOOOOOOD DAY :)

Thanks everyone! You are all so special to me! Hugs to all! Have a wonderful and blessed weekend! God bless!

Congratulations on your GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! (use a soccer announcer voice for that! LOL)

You have been such an amazing inspiration to so many people but especially to me. You went first. . .and then you mentored me the entire way. I still remember our first meeting at Marie Callendars for breakfast and you could hardly eat and were so depressed. I was having my surgery 3 days later and you inspired me and let me know that i would be ok. All of the text messages back and forth when I needed support and a voice that had "been there". You got me through SO much!

And YOU were the one that has brought us all together for our support group - none of that would have happened with YOU. The group has inspired and nurtured all of us and given us all the strength to keep moving forward even when we were having a difficult time with the process. It made all of us feel like we weren't alone in the journey. Thank you for bringing us together.

And you continue to inspire. Each and every month when you speak to the graduating class at Kaiser and share your story, letting them know that this DOES work - even though the road is sometimes difficult. They look at you and see your succes and find comfort in the fact that they are embarking on the right journey.

I hope you realize the impact you have had on all of our lives. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

Ohhhhhhh my! I love you Pam! Thank you sooooo much for your kind words! And thank you for always being there for me. I know I sound like a broken record but I really could not have done this without you and the many others that God has put in my life. We will forever be connected by this wonderful and special gift. Hugs!

I also want to thank you for reminding me to take a picture to always remind me of making my goal :)
