You are HYSTERICAL! You will do fine! My surgery is in May but I get the feeling!

April 26th for me too - I can hardly wait for it to be over!

I say "over" when it's just the beginning, but the months of jumping through hoops will be great to have as a thing of the past.

I didn't have to have a 6-month supervised diet, but it has been over 4 months since I went to the 1st seminar.

Now I keep thinking something will go wrong; that the doctors will start the surgery and then say...

"Sorry to inform you that we discovered an Alien incubating in your stomach - we had to cancel the procedure. Also, you owe us 60,000 because the feisty little sucker spit acid all over the stapler and then bit a nurse"...

Best of luck to you (and me)...

J

HI all - just registered here and am having my surgery the day after tomorrow (4/26). Am looking forward to it being behind me and starting the road to feeling better :) All the best to everyone having their surgery this week...

I'm right there with you on Tuesday! I leave for California tonight, now im kinda freaking out lol ohmy.gif

Can't believe its here already! I've been kind of in a weird state of surrealism, like it isn't really happening. Yet here I am on day 2 of pre-op liquids and tomorrow I head to California! Surreal.....

Good luck to the rest of April sleevers!

Today is the Day!!! I made it thru the clear liquids and am all packed for the hospital. We leave here in two hours. I'm so excited!!! Good luck all....how are the early April sleevers doing???

Had my pre-op appointment this morning...i'm all set to go for tomorrow! Gotta call the hospital this afternoon to see what time I need to be there tomorrow morning, but I'm scheduled for around 10am!!! I CAN'T WAIT - it's like Christmas Eve

I just got sleeved on April 18th, it's been one week today. Pain has not been too bad at all, actually a little surprised on how well I've felt, was expecting much worse. I will say this, I am sick of Soup. I want to just taste something different even if its just a bite or two.

Good luck everybody

J.D.

Off to the airport in 30 minutes. On my way to my new healthy me! Excited, nervous... excited!

Hang in there Stacy. You will start to feel better and I promise you will agree soon enough that this is the best thing you have ever done!

I had my Sleeve on April 14th and the weight is continuing to drop!

I should be going home today but now I'm scared to leave....i have two small kids who love their momma very much. I'm afraid they're gonna hurt me. But, if rather be home than here. I'm still on a pain pump so I don't know how that's gonna work when I go home.

In the clinic currently waiting for surgery, nerves are setting in!
