Approved!

My pre-op was last Wednesday the 2nd. And I received a call from the insurance company today approving my surgery! I'm so excited that I can actually say that I am 100% going to get this surgery! My surgery is March 1st and I start my liquid diet in about 2 weeks. Any advice for me to prepare for? What should I bring for my stay at the hospital? Any advice helps. :)

There is a whole thread dedicated to what to bring to the hospital list here:What you will need . As far as getting ready for that liquid diet,, cut the carbs now so it does not hit you so bad when you start it. Stock up on all the clear liquids that sound good to you, they will be your savior.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So very happy for y'all.

What clear liquids did you use?

My go to clear liquid was chicken broth. I drank it like most people drink coffee. I would fill a hot mug and take it with my while traveling.

Congratulations on getting approved. Remember after surgery...walk, walk, walk.
