Probably TMI!

Hi all, I am 4 days post op and have yet to have a BM. I keep seeing people comment on "liquid in, liquid out", so far it's just liquid in for me. Right now i'm sipping on a little prune juice to help stimulate thing. My post op diet is full liquids... but still nothing. I'm not in any pain and I don't have any of the usual constipation stomach cramping, just haven't pooped yet.... any thoughts? Gross I know... sorry

I added benefiber three times a day to my protein shakes

I didn't have a BM until 7 days post op. To tell the truth it never even occurred to me to give it a thought, until that seveth day when I thought to myself...I have to poop. Then I thought...wait a minute...this is the first time I've had to poop since I had surgery. Had a very normal BM and moved on with my life. I used to be a once a day kind of girl. Now I'm more of an every four days kind of girl. I'm trying to remedy that, but it's hard to balance getting Fiber when you spend most of your life trying to eat Protein. I never have cramps, or feel extra gassy. I just don't poop very much. Every once in a while it'll be very firm, and then I'll just eat something like roasted chickpeas and that gets things back to normal.
