Question for those still on liquids

I am curious. For those of you still on Clear liquids are you frequenting the bathroom. I am asking because, I seem to be retaining a lot of fluids without having to go to the restroom. I just want to know is this normal when you are taking in so many liquids. I go. I'm just not going often.

I haven't been going as often either. On pre op clears I was going nonstop. I'm not swollen at all and decided to cut my broth out because of all the sodium, but still not going that often. I think our bodies are hanging on to everything we are putting into them right now. I think my body is po'd with me right now. Lol

I am still glad that I did this. I know in the long run the weight will come off.

[i I am currently on clear liquids (had surgery Dec 1st) I ususally go to the bathroom around 4 to 5 times a day. Are you going more or less than that?

I'm glad I did this too. I'm just anxious I guess. Anyhoo ... What did you replace your broth with? Between juice, Water and juice, I look forward to my chicken broth MmmMmm. You are right about the salt. I try to water it down without making it bland.

WOW ... Seriously I'm going 2 times 3 if you count a little tinkle, which I'm not counting. I'm going to start coffee again [decaf]. Coffee always makes me go.

At first after surgery, I was going normal. I think that my body was ridding itself of the fluids from the IV. At about 10 days out, it dropped to once a day, and so I upped my liquids - at least tried too. I am now going twice a day. I think I am still too low on liquids and that my body is retaining Fluid. I am also constipated - so I added benefiber. My body is not liking what I have done to it at all.
