Have a great day!!!

We are from Southern Indiana. My husband was looking into it but our insurance won't cover it. It it will be totally out of pocket. I've ressearched and it's anywhere from 16,000 and up in US and Canada. We researched a physician who tested the P&G band for several years before FDA reeased in US in Mexico just south of San Diego. Their total fee is 6900. Are you glad you had it done? How long ago and how are things going

We went to the doctor before thankgivings and I gained a couple of pounds but the doctors office did not record the last weigh in when I had the first fill since it was not done at the office. We both had a fill today. I got 1 cc so now Iam up to 2 cc. I hope that this will last a lot longer than the first one. She got 1 cc also. She is up to 3 cc. So will see what happens now. on liquids today, soft foods on Tuesday and regular on Wed. We go back on Jan 7th, 08 and might get a fill the following week. He wants to see us now every 6-8 weeks and then will look at getting a fill. Glad to see that everyone had a good Turkery Day. Now were ready for Christams.

I live in Bloomington and was just banded by Dr. Ray on nov 27th.

even though I was working since march to have the surgery I am so glad the way his program requires a ton of education. I feel very prepared to live with the band.

congrats and well wishes to everyone!

Just Wanted To Say Hi To All The Hoosiers, And Wish You All Happy Holidays. I Was Banded On 8/2006. Moving Slowly Toward My Goal. I Must Say It Has Been A Great Year. Originally Was At 306, Currently At 249. Droped 4 Pant Sizes And I Would To Here From All Of My Close By Hoosiers.

Hello all I am also from Southern Indiana. I hope to be banded in the early part of 2008 I am awaiting approval . I send my congratulations, you all have done a wonderful job of losing.

Phenry-I'm from Evansville. Are you close by? Just wondering since you said you were southern IN by the river. Would be nice to have someone close by to chat with.

From NW Indiana, just had a question. For those that have had the lap band now for some time. How long has it been and how successful have you been at keeping the weight off?

I am looking to find out how long term this really is? Has anyone here met there goal and kept at their goal for some time? Have you figured the secret out for the long term?

Thanks :straight

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jodi and I live in NW Indiana in a tiny town called Crawfordsville. Was banded Aug 31 2005. Have lost a total of 167 lbs. Currently weighing in @ 160 lbs. Passed my doctors goal of 165. My lowest weight was 148 before I became pregnant with my 2nd son, giving birth this past September. Dr Clark in Indianapolis was my surgeon. I have a 4 cc band with a current fill of 1.8cc's which seems to be my current sweet spot. Looking forward to corresponding and getting to know everyone here.
