  1. My husband was banded Nov 07 but didn't get his first fill for a year. (He thought if he took it really slow, he wouldn't have saggy skin) He got his first fill in November and it went smooth. He got another fill from a different fill center on Monday. Things went ok when he ate Monday but on Tuesday he can't eat or drink with out it coming up. He thinks his meds might of gotten stuck. It is especially worse when he lays down. Anyone ever experience that? We are going to call the fill center tomorrow.
  2. He says he can't even drink anything. Everything keeps coming back up and he feels like he's stopped up. He's miserable. Does the band have a delayed reaction?
  3. My husband got his first fill last November and went back on Monday for another. He was able to eat soft foods Monday night but yesterday it was restricted and still is today that he can't get anything down. He keeps throwing up when he lays down. He thinks his meds got stuck. We are going to call the fill center tomorrow. Anyone ever have that happen?
  4. We had to pay out of pocket. It was 24,000 +- in the US so we checked into Mexico. ($7,000) Had a great experience. The Drs. were great and so was our experience only now we need a fill. It's been toooo long.

  6. Don't know if you caught it or not but it was my hubby who got the surgery. We went to mexico south of San Diego for his. It was 7,000 out of pocket. Insurance wouldn't cover it. He scheduled it about a week after he discovered the hospital and was comfortable He didn't go through any counceling which I wish he had because he has learned to cheat not and has started gaining his weight back

  12. My hubby 59 just had it Monday. He has lost around 30 pounds with his 2 week pre op surgery and a few since. He is faithful with the liquids. Hey is that a Bichon?
  13. My hubby had lap on Monday and he had terrible gas too. Walking helps. Gas was gone by Wednesday but he was up 4 hours after surgery walking or should I say schuchin down the hall like a little old man. But today was a different story. He his plumbing shut down. He was miserable, cramps, profuse sweating and dizzy. We got scared. Dr. recommended purne juice and drink more water! He was dehydrated. Well it worked. Just thought I would warn you to drink plenty!
  14. We are 3 hours from Indy, 3 Hours from St. Louis, 2.5 hours from Nashville, 2 hours from Louisville. Anyone know of a Fill Doctor there? Since he had his surgery in Mexico does that create a problem?
  15. I'm glad you started the tread too Al.
