KristyKreme

Hey

Today was the BIG (no pun intended) day.

Thinking of you and may you recover well. As soon as you can, let us all know you made it through.

Best wishes.

Kristie

Thanks! Sorry I disappeared -- this experience has been INTENSE and I'm just now starting to feel human again. I'm exhausted, though, and need to nap a lot. The first four days were the worst, then from day 5 through about day 7, I transitioned from deep inner wound pain to outer itchy wound pain. I'm 12 days post-op already! And I'm very glad to be on the other side.

I totally understand!! Hope you're feeling better soon!

Kristy, That first week is tough but it only gets better from here on out.

Yeah! I didn't know you even had your surgery scheduled yet. Hope you are going well..

Thanks, everybody. I'm feeling pretty good. Yesterday, though, I started feeling a pain (more like discomfort) on my left side above the bottom left portal wound. I think it's just deep muscle pulling/healing -- it's like something in there just woke up. I'm going to call my doctor about it today, though, because it's kind of freaking me out.

I'm great! Thanks for asking! I'm 10.5 weeks out, losing an average of 4 - 5 pounds a week, pretty much have the hang of things and feel fantastic. Your surgery's in February?

Hey Kristy, hoping all is well with you.
