OMG!!!! I was just on here yesterday saying how happy I was to be here and that I was waiting for my second consult, WEEELLLL....yesterday afternoon I got as call to schedule the consult. WELLL.... they got me in TODAY!!! I now have a surgery date of September 10th!!!!!!! That is 2 1/2 weeks away!!!!! I CAN NOT believe it!!!! I'm soooo excited!!!!:thumbup:

Now is the really hard part, I have to tell my parents!!!! LOl!!! You would think being 42 years old it would not be such a big deal, but it is!!! I feel like I'm 16 again going to ask them to do something I know they will not like!!!! I really value their opinion and I want them to be happy, not freaked out!!! I keep telling myself that I have had 6 weeks to process all of this and they are going to be caught totally off guard!!!! Please keep me in your prayers this weekend!!!!:001_unsure:

Congratulations on getting a date so quickly! Good luck with your parents. I was surprised because my parents were quite supportive, although I know my mom worried a lot as well. I didn't tell my dad until after it was already over. I am a coward!

CONGRATS KIM. That's awesome it will not be long before you are on the loser's bench. I'm 8 days post-op and I feel great. Please keep us updated with your progress.
