The anticipation is the tough part  I am sure going to liquids will be a tough change, but use your motivation and excitement for this process to help keep you on track. I did not have a pre-op, but I have done liquid diets in the past. Once you get past day 3 everything is smoother. Also enjoy the rapid weight loss the liquid diet will bring and just remember this time you won't be gaining it back! Stay positive and realize how this will get you to your goal. If you do struggle use your support systems to help get you back on track.

Your gonna rock the sleeve.

that's great news, you sound so excited. the liquid diet is a bit hard, but at the end it'll all be worth it!!! welcome to your new journey to weight loss. congrats and goodluck!!!

How exciting - congratulations!!

At least you don't have long to wait now and can get right in there with your liquid bit!!

Keep us informed

Thank you all for your support. I love this forum. I hope these next 2 week fly by.

Many congrats on getting your date set. The sleeve is absolutely fabulous. I can't help you with the liquid pre-op because I just had to do low carb. You'll do great, and come here when you need support.

Congratulations! I am sharing in your excitement and anticipation as my surgery date is also May 19th. We can be sleeve buddies, and keep each other motivated as we each move along post-op, if you would like. I did my final pre-op appointment today with my surgeon and everything appears to be right on track to surgery day. Good luck on your 2 weeks liquid pre-op diet, it will be tough but you can do it. Just stay with it.

Thanks everyone I will keep posting. Springlife I love the idea of being sleeve buddies keep me psoted. I had my pre-op yesterday, I also completed my Blood work, Chest X-ray, and EKG. I am all set. Now it is the waiting game. The next 11 days will take forever.

I am having my sleeve on the 19th too! I was suppose to have it done on the 20th but got moved up one day due to the hospital schedule. YAY! I'm so excited for you. I don't have to do the liquid diet but a low-carb diet. Looks like me, you and springlife are all on for the 19th!
