post opp burning pain

I just want to make sure mine is normal. Burning pain on left side if i do too much. if i push or hold it it feels way better. Did anyone else have this.

I believe its just from the surgery. just want to make sure. i think i may be over doing it.

Sorry you're hurting. Why not take it easy for a day and see if it gets better.

You did just have surgery about a week ago. I also say take it easy. Your body is still healing. Hope it resolves soon.

Yes I remember having that burning pain. I had to hold my belly up while walking. If I let it go it felt like I would rip something. But it goes away. One day soon you will wake up and realize it is gone.

I know exactly what pain you are talking about. Although I have not had it with my sleeve (3/23/10), I did have it with both c-sections and hysterectomy. It hurts badly, but will subside as your body heals. Mine took a while because they were large incisions, hopefully yours will not last as long. I am only 4 days post op, but feel good. I hope you have a great recovery !!
