I'm sleaved!

I was sleeved yesterday about 8 am, left the hospital today and am home. I feel great, just sore like I've done a bunch of sit ups. The worst part for me was removing the drain, ouch! Other than than I feel great, walked alot in the hospital, having a problem getting water down but it's getting better. The gas builds up and as soon as I feel the pressure I take a deep breath and it subsides! So far so good, I can't believe it's over though..my journey begins now!!:svengo:

I think maybe American hospitals are a shorter stay? I was operated on at 11:30 Wednesday and released at 4:30 Thursday afternoon. It took me 2 hours to sip the required 8 oz at 1 oz every 15 minutes, then they let me go.

Scarey,,,doesn't he keep a chart?

How many sleeves has he done?

Thank you all for all your wonderful comments. I'm now 6 days out, feel great! Only problem I have is getting my water and protein down, I walk alot but still have alot of gas...that's the reason it's hard going down. Other than that I cant complain about anything. My tummy rumbles alot, haven't felt hungry at all! Wish all of you the best of luck!!
