I'm finally doing it!

Hey Guys! I have finally committed to getting the sleeve this Tuesday. My doctor told me he could do it on that day, but I'm been trying to see if I could make up my mind to do it. But I AM going to do it! Not sure what time. I think in the morning.

I'm a little bit nervous because I have not did any kind of pre-op diet. My doctor told me not too worry about it because I'm not extremely overweight... I have over 100 lbs. to lose, to me that's alot...

What do you guys think?

I wonder what time I will have to stop eating or drinking tomorrow?

Maybe some of you that have just had your surgery around the same time we can keep more in touch and see how we are doing?

I love having found this site and having people that can help me along the way!

Also I enjoy reading about you guys that have already been where we've been and we can learn from your experiences.

Day 6: I got by drainage bag and most of my stitches out today! YAY! I'm so happy! I couldn't wait to get that tube out of my stomach. Yuck! I feel 100% better!

They only left the stitches by my belly button and I get those out in another week. I'm so happy that I can start feeling "normal" again...

I have a little pain, but not much. The doctor said taking the stitches and the tube out wasn't going to hurt, but he lied! I was ready to scream! But it was worth it!

I'm lost 10 lbs. so far. I have been so hungry today! I so wish I could eat something of substance! Somehow I'll have to make it on my Clear liquids...

You are doing great! I know what you mean about getting that drainage bag out, it makes a huge difference in how you feel.

You will make it through the clear liquids - those of us who have are proof -- it's not easy, but necessary -and you can do anything for a short period of time ... hang in there!

Great progress Charity. Now that you are free from "the bag", you can move that sleeve around the halls like a pro...walk sip walk sip...
