Posting from my blackberry, so this will be short. The surgery went well, and I had a surprise when I woke up...they repaired a hiatal hernia I didn't even know I had! So now I'm sipping some Water (finally) and waiting on some liquid breakfast! Just wanted to check in.

Didn't have any information about you yesterday! Will you be going home today or tomorrow from hospital?

Glad you are doing well -- hiatal hernia's are very common and apparently easy for them to fix while they are in there doing the surgery. Enjoy your water and Clear liquids and remember to follow your post-op diet and you'll be on the road to recovery in no time.

It is amazing, those little surprises we wake up to. When I woke up, I found out Dr. Aceves had removed several moles, two tumors from my liver and some gall stones.
