Hello, any October banisters. I was originally scheduled for September 23 but the drs office called yesterday and moved my date to October 3.

Hi everyone! New here. Hoping to meet some friendly people! My surgery is scheduled for Oct 14th!! My pre-op liquid diet is going surprisingly well' date=' on day 6! Atkins shakes, whey protein powder lots or sugar free Popsicles and sugar free jello do the trick! I've had headaches since day one however. Anyone else experience this? Also my job requires lots of moving around and lifting, does anyone know about how long recovery is?[/quote']

I was told it would be quite a while before I could lift over 20lbs again. Many people experience those headaches during the liquid diet, it's a withdrawal-type thing. It will pass though. You're already at day 6, so they should stop in the next few days as your body adapts to your new diet. Congratulations and good luck! I was banded on the 2nd!

Wow ... Today is almost over so tomorrow is 3 days until my pre op appointment and weigh in. Getting a few nerves here.

HI!! I am getting banded on 10/11/13...getting pretty nervous. I have my pre-op appt. today w DR. Such a big life change!!! Ready for the change. Any AZ banders?

I'm on day 3 of Pre-op diet and doing ok. I have a mild headache but my husband says I'm grumpy. I guess mood changes are normal with everything we are going thru.

I'm not sure what I did to make this underline, but today is my first day of pre-op diet. I can't say that I am hungry, but I want to eat everything in sight still. I am hoping that this will go away.

My doctor did not put me on a pre opt diet. They told me to eat what I wanted and have that glass of wine if I want. Hmmmmmm.....
