I've only tried one brand, Quest Bar, because it was recommended on this site. It is low in carbs/sugar and pretty high in protein. The taste is pretty good (for a protein bar with low sugar). :)

I like a chocolate mint Life Choice bar. It has 20 grams of protein. It is kind of chewy so you need to like chewy things. I get them at WalMart.

I like the ones from Target....Market Pantry brand peanutbutter chocolate. They have 20 gm of protein and met my nutritionist requirements of only 200 calories. They have 2 gms of sugar and 7 gm of fat. Tried their chocolate chocolate ones and they are a bit too rich.

There is a brand called " think thin" also that is high protein very low sugar that also tastes fab. I think I got it at Safeway!

Quest Bars are the best I think they don't have a yucky coating there are so many chioces as well they are &&& they only draw back But I went to my GNC store and the guy told me I can get 2 boxs for 42 plus 20% off and mix them up...so I jumped some places they are 3 per bar... Try them
