laying down

I got surgery 2 days ago. Im wonderin if i could lay on my right side??

I had surgery Friday and normally I sleep on my stomach so not being able to has been a real challenge. I have slept on each side but only for a couple hours on each. I can't wait till I can sleep on my stomach again!! Hopefully soon!

Just wondering can i take big gulps of Water cause these little sips arent helping! Im extremely thirsty

Had my surgery Tuesday and big gulps hurt and come right back up for me:( as for laying down I did my right side for the first couple days then my left. The pressure on my left actually felt better... hour you figure out what works for you:)

I was told to take sips, drink everything like it was a cup of hit tea.
