Well, it's the day of surgery and my nerves are definitely in full effect. My surgery is at 11:00 Am so if you happen to look at the clock at that time keep me in your thoughts. This will be the first surgery I have ever had in my life and I am kinda freaked out. I will try to post on here after my surgery and let everyone know how it went. You will do fine! Best wishes for your surgery and recovery. Remember, after surgery, keep hydrated, with small sips, and walk as much as possible to relieve the gas pressure they will pump into you. Karen

Once you wake up in recovery, you will realize that the worst is behind you, and you can start making your life better... everyone has qualms about going into major surgery. You'll do fine!

Congratulations on making the decision to get banded. I'm at the beginning of the process, getting required appointments and such. It took me almost a year to make the decision to get the band. Looking forward to hearing how you are doing.
