  5. Oh how I would love to go to the game!!!!
  6. I'm going in for a check-up with my family doctor soon. He normally only does lab work for A1C, cholesterol, thyroid, CBC...just common stuff. I was wondering what are other good levels to have checked now that I'm banded (9 months post-op). What specific Vitamin levels, for example, should I ask him to check? The only problem I'm having that makes me wonder if I'm vitamin deficient is because my hair is still falling out. There's a lot of new growth too, but it's still coming out in handful in the shower. Thank you all!
  7. Great post! So very inspiring!
  8. B-52... Can you please elaborate on your comment about being on full liquids? I've heard reference to this before but I don't really understand. Thanks!

  13. ONEderland day for me! I got on the scales this morning and it read 200.00 so I stripped off my clothes and this is what I got! Oh how I love my lapband and am thankful for a wonderful doctor! I had been at a plateau for a while but I pushed through and the scale DID eventually move! Never, ever quit! Highest known weight: 333 Day of surgery, 3/8/13: 258 Today: 199.4!
  14. Tonight after trick or treating with my 3 year old little boy, we were sorting through the loot. He found a mini Snickers bar and wanted me to open it for him. He held the tiny candy bar in his hand and said "it's my frotein bar!"! I guess Protein bars are the norm in his life! I'm really glad that he doesn't even recognize candy bars;) We did indulge in the Halloween candy tonight, but tomorrow it will find a new home. I feel gross!
  15. I've been having tailbone pain too! Actually having back and shoulder pain as well....I thought that was likely due to weight loss/shifting, but didn't associate pain in my tailbone with weight loss! Who knew??? I guess I will see a chiropractor soon!
  16. I bought costume jewelry rings to wear temporarily because I didn't want to risk losing my wedding set. I actually get lots of compliments on the "fake rings"... No one knows the difference;)
  17. Horn tooting is the most beautiful of all on this site in my opinion! That's so great! Inspires me to keep on! Thanks for posting!
