  3. Today I purchased an Angus Beef Chuck Roast to cook in the crock pot. When I enter this into the search area on MFP, the options offered have such wide variations in nutritional values in regards to protein and calories. How do you decide in situations like this one? I hope my question makes sense. Thank you!
  4. Thanks for the input everyone! No problems brushing this morning! Finally!
  5. Well, hopefully it's temporary;) Tomorrow is a new day! Thank you!
  6. For LB Veterans... I am 5 days post-op, doing great with no complications whatsoever thus far. I have noticed one strange thing since my surgery. Almost every time I brush my teeth I become very nauseated, sometimes gag, and have to "concentrate" so not to throw up. I have never, ever had this problem. Has anyone ever experienced this? Is it all in my head? So weird! So not pleasant:0 Thanks!
  7. I'm on day 4 post-op, and day 3 was the worst fir me (and even then was not so bad). I agree the heating pad and walking have been most helpful. Good luck!
  8. Great job using your MIND rather than your EMOTIONS to make your decision! Good for you!!!
  9. That's no small achievement! It's HUGE! Thank you for sharing! So motivating!
  10. Thank you for the reminder! I'm on day 3 post-op. I think it's the anesthesia that's kicking my butt...can't seem to get out of the fog. I'm only taking Tylenol since yesterday morning.
  11. Thanks everyone! No problems sipping or walking at this point. I'm gonna stop the Lortab and change to liquid Tylenol my next dose do hopefully the foggy brain will go away!
  12. I was banded yesterday! I was so sore and nauseated last night, but I'm feeling so much better this morning! Thankfully I've had none of the terrible gas pains that so many people report! I've loved reading all the posts on this forum! Good luck to all the March bandsters!
  13. March 8th is my day! I'm ready to DO THIS!!!
  14. Hey y'all!!!! I actually have been living in Kentucky for about 3 years, but I'm really an Alabama girl. I'm researching WLS, particularly lap band, and am attending an informational seminar tomorrow. Best wishes to you all in your weight loss journeys!
